Young Washington
Young Washington is the first entry in the Young Washington Collection and a historical war drama about the man before the myth. Long before he led a nation, George Washington was a young soldier thrown into a global conflict. With alliances crumbling and war closing in, he has to decide who deserves his trust and face the kind of leader he is turning into. The tagline frames it as the starting point of 250 years of history.
William Franklyn-Miller plays George Washington. Ben Kingsley appears as Robert Dinwiddie, Michael Benz as Thomas Gage, Joel David Smallbone as William Fairfax and Mary-Louise Parker as Mary Washington, with Leo Hanna as Christopher Gist. Jon Erwin directs; his earlier films include American Underdog and I Can Only Imagine. It runs 2h 2m and is rated PG-13.
IMDb users have rated it 7.5 from 6584 votes. As the only entry in its collection so far, there is nothing in the series to compare it with, and no Kinopoisk score is listed.
