The Devil Wears Prada 2 is the second film in The Devil Wears Prada Collection, twenty years on from the 2006 original. Andy Sachs returns to Runway at a moment when Miranda Priestly is trying to steer the magazine through a new media landscape. The two reconnect with former assistant Emily Charlton, who now runs a luxury brand with the kind of funding that could keep Runway alive. The tagline, icons reign forever, hints at whose terms that rescue would be on.
Anne Hathaway returns as Andy Sachs, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, Emily Blunt as Emily and Stanley Tucci as Nigel. David Frankel, who directed the first film and later Marley & Me, is back as well. The comedy-drama runs 1h 59m and is rated PG-13.
On IMDb the sequel scores 7.0 from 2576 votes, level with the 7.0 of the 2006 film. It has no Kinopoisk score yet; the original holds 7.7 there.
