The Odyssey
The Odyssey is a 2026 adventure film that takes on the story of Odysseus, the legendary King of Ithaca, and his long, dangerous voyage home after the Trojan War. Along the way he has to face the whims of the gods, mythological monsters, and trials that push both his cunning and his humanity to the breaking point. The tagline is a challenge in two words: defy the gods.
Matt Damon plays Odysseus, with Anne Hathaway as Penelope, Tom Holland as Telemachus, Zendaya as Athena and Robert Pattinson as Antinous. Christopher Nolan directs; his earlier films include Interstellar, Inception and The Dark Knight. At 2h 53m it is a long sit, and it carries an R rating.
