The Unknown
Photographer David Zimmerman rarely leaves home, until friends drag him to a wild party. There he becomes fixated on a mysterious woman and follows her. By dawn his life has transformed: he wakes up in her body. The film, originally titled L'inconnue, is tagged fantasy, drama and mystery, and the body swap is the starting point rather than the twist.
Léa Seydoux is credited as Eva Helsinger / David Zimmerman and Niels Schneider as David Zimmerman / Malia, which tells you how the swap plays out on screen. Valérie Dréville plays Gabi Zimmerman, Lilith Grasmug is Malia, Radu Jude is Malia's Father and Victoire du Bois is Sophie Caro. Arthur Harari directs, following Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle. The runtime is 2h 20m; no age rating is listed.
IMDb users currently rate it 6.3; there is no Kinopoisk score on record and no vote count listed.
