A Christmas Story Documentary: Road Trip For Ralphie
Road Trip For Ralphie is a documentary about fandom taken to its logical end. Two mega-fans of "A Christmas Story" decide to track down every location where the film was shot, and the search takes them two years and across two countries. What starts as a pilgrimage turns into detective work: they dig up facts that had slipped out of the record, find spots almost nobody knew were used in the film, and recover long-lost pieces of movie memorabilia.
Tyler Schwartz and Jordie Schwartz appear as themselves and carry the journey on screen; Tyler Schwartz also directs. The film runs 1h 21m and has no age rating listed. Its own tagline pitches it as a companion piece to the holiday film it celebrates, so it will land best with viewers who already know that film well.
The perfect companion to a treasured holiday classic.
