Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear
Travis Barker: Louder Than Fear is a music documentary about the drummer's life after surviving a devastating plane crash that came close to killing him. The film treats that recovery as a raw and redemptive journey, and aims for an intimate portrait of the man behind the tattoos rather than a run through his discography, tracing how he turned pain into something he could play through.
Barker appears as himself, and the film also brings in Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, Randy Barker, Landon Barker, Alabama Barker and Atiana de la Hoya, all speaking as themselves. Justin Krook and Michael Dwyer co-direct. The film runs 1h 41m and carries an R rating, so it does not soften the crash or its aftermath for a younger audience. No Kinopoisk or IMDb scores have been recorded yet. It is aimed at fans who want the person rather than the performer, and at anyone interested in how someone rebuilds after coming that close to the end.
