Busboys

Busboys is a comedy about a pair of idiot friends who become convinced that if they get jobs as waiters, all of their problems will be solved. As the synopsis puts it, they are not entirely wrong, but they are not entirely right either. The tagline warns that some messes cannot be cleaned up, which gives a sense of how the plan goes.

David Spade plays Markie and Theo Von plays Steef. The rest of the cast includes Bobby Lee as Samuel, Tim Dillon as Manager Tim, Kam Patterson as Ray and Jay Pharoah as a DEA Agent. Jonah Feingold directs, following his earlier comedies EXmas and Dating & New York. The film runs 1h 33m and is rated R.

IMDb voters have been unenthusiastic so far, giving it 5.2 across 2061 votes.
