The Frog Princess 2
The second film in The Frog Princess Collection, picking up from The Frog Princess of 2025. The listing describes it simply as a continuation of that fairy tale, with Valentina Lyapina and Nikita Kologrivyy back in their roles, and the genre mix of family adventure, fantasy and comedy carries over. Beyond that, the plot is kept under wraps.
Seeing the first film will help, since this one continues its story directly. Valentina Lyapina plays Vasilisa and Nikita Kologrivyy is Koshchey. Viktor Loginov is credited as Otets Ivana and Elena Ksenofontova as Mama Ivana, and Aleksandr Metelkin, Roman Kurtsyn and Daria Blokhina also appear. Aleksandr Amirov, who directed the first The Frog Princess, returns. The film runs 1h 35m; no age rating is listed.
Kinopoisk users rate it 5.5, a drop from the 7.3 the first film holds there, while on IMDb it stands at 5.7 from 19 votes, above the original's 4.1.
