The Trio
The Trio, originally titled Trion, is a drama series told across two ages of one man. Middle-aged Hugo runs into the daughter of his childhood loves, and the encounter throws him back to the time when his younger self was starting college. His memories open onto a deeply entwined and emotionally complex story of yearning, in which a love triangle grows more complicated the longer it lasts. The series follows the emotional journeys of its three leads, Hugo, Thora and August.
Hugo is played by August Wittgenstein and Seth Manteus, covering the two periods of his life. Rebecka Harper plays Thora and Felix Sandman plays August, with Adam Pålsson as Samuel; Rebecca Harker is also credited. No director is listed. Episodes run about 30 minutes, and there is no age rating. Because the story moves between past and present, it is best begun at the first episode.
On IMDb the series is rated 6.7 from 325 votes.
