Toy Story 5
Toy Story 5 is the fifth entry in the Toy Story Collection, following Toy Story 4 from 2019. This time the enemy is not another toy but a screen: Bonnie receives a Lilypad tablet as a gift and quickly becomes obsessed with it. For Buzz, Woody, Jessie and the rest of the gang, the everyday job of being played with becomes exponentially harder as they go head to head with an all-new threat to playtime. The tagline is two words long: "It's on."
Tom Hanks voices Woody and Tim Allen is Buzz Lightyear, with Joan Cusack as Jessie, Blake Clark as Slinky Dog and Greta Lee voicing Lilypad; Anna Faris also joins the cast. Andrew Stanton, director of Finding Nemo, is at the helm. The film runs 1h 42m and is rated PG, so it works for the whole family, and newcomers can follow it without having seen the earlier films.
On IMDb it holds 7.5 from 43685 votes, a little below Toy Story 4 at 7.6 and further behind the first Toy Story and Toy Story 3, both at 8.3. A Kinopoisk score has not been recorded for this one, unlike the four earlier films.
