The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is the second entry in The Super Mario Collection, following The Super Mario Bros. Movie from 2023. Bowser's plan to marry Princess Peach has been foiled, but a new threat arrives in the form of Bowser Jr., who is set on freeing his father from captivity and restoring the family legacy. Mario and Luigi, joined by companions new and old, travel across the stars to stop the young heir. The tagline is short: the galaxy awaits.
Chris Pratt voices Mario and Charlie Day voices Luigi, with Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach and Jack Black as Bowser. Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath return to direct after The Super Mario Bros. Movie. The animated family adventure runs 1h 38m and is rated PG. Anyone new to the series should start with the 2023 film.
