The Strangers: Chapter 3
The Strangers: Chapter 3 closes the trilogy that began with The Strangers: Chapter 1 in 2024 and continued with The Strangers: Chapter 2 in 2025. Tethered by a frightening conclusion, Maya and the Strangers are locked on an unavoidable, unforgiving collision course, a showdown that proves they are far from strangers now. It is a horror thriller that picks up directly where the previous chapter left off.
Madelaine Petsch returns as Maya. Richard Brake plays Sheriff Rotter, Ema Horvath is Shelly, the killer known as Pinup, and Gabriel Basso is Gregory, the one in the Scarecrow mask. Renny Harlin directs; his earlier films include Die Hard 2, Deep Blue Sea and Cliffhanger. The film runs 1h 32m and is rated R. Because the story is continuous, it makes little sense without the first two chapters.
Audience scores have slid across the series: 4.7 on IMDb for both earlier chapters, and 4.1 for this one from 927 votes, with no Kinopoisk rating yet.
