Pinocchio: Unstrung
Pinocchio: Unstrung is a 2026 horror film and the first title in the Pinocchio Unstrung Collection. The puppet created by Geppetto has fallen under the influence of a sinister Cricket, and he wants what his brother James has: a real body. His plan is to carve himself into a real boy piece by piece, and the crusade that follows is a violent one. The tagline says the rest: he has no strings to hold him back now.
Jude Evan Lloyd voices Pinocchio and Robert Englund voices the Cricket. Peter DeSouza-Feighoney plays Michael Darling, Cameron Bell is James, Kelly Rian Sanson is Miss Daniels and Jessica Balmer is Mia. Rhys Frake-Waterfield directs; his earlier films include Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. It runs 1h 22m and is listed as NR, so assume the violence the premise promises.
IMDb voters have given it 7.1 from 147 votes, a small sample. There is no Kinopoisk score, and as the sole entry in its collection there is nothing to compare it with yet.
