The One I Love
Erkan Aldur comes from a wealthy Istanbul family and is sent to eastern Turkey for his mandatory military service, to a remote region still reeling from an earthquake. In that harsh, unfamiliar landscape he meets Dicle, a young woman who has never lived anywhere but the village and whose world is built on tradition, family and community. Their meeting pulls two very different worlds together. As Dicle steps into the unfamiliar and Erkan takes on new responsibilities, the family drama series follows a story of change, resilience and love that bridges even the widest divides.
Aytaç Sasmaz plays Erkan Aldur and Helin Kandemir plays Dicle Demir. Baris Baktas appears as Civan Demir, Hüseyin Avni Danyal as Esat Aldur and Esra Ronabar as İnci Aldur, with Deniz Isin also in the cast. Gökçen Usta directs, after My Little Girl and Love Makes Us Cry. Episode runtime and age rating are not listed. Begin with the first episode, where the two worlds first meet.
