Sugar & Vice: A Hannah Swensen Mystery

The tenth title in the Hannah Swensen Mysteries Collection, arriving after Reality Bites: A Hannah Swensen Mystery from 2025. Hannah finds a body at the grand re-opening of the Lake Eden Inn. Then a storm traps everyone inside, and she has to identify the culprit before the road clears and the killer can leave. A television mystery in the classic snowed-in mould.

Each entry stands on its own, so this works as a first visit to Lake Eden. Alison Sweeney plays Hannah Swensen, Barbara Niven is Delores Swensen and Tess Atkins plays Michelle Swensen. Victor Webster appears as Chad Norton and Mike Dopud as Sheriff Ron Ealing. Peter Benson, who also directed Big Sky River, is behind the camera. The film runs 1h 24m; no age rating is listed.

IMDb voters have it at 6.5 from 386 votes, level with Reality Bites and One Bad Apple in the same series, a touch under the 6.9 of the earlier Murder, She Baked: A Peach Cobbler Mystery. No Kinopoisk score is listed for this one.
