Greenland 2: Migration

Greenland 2: Migration is the second film in the Greenland Collection, picking up after the 2020 original. The Garrity family survived the comet Clarke by reaching the Greenland bunker, but safety is not the same as a future. Now they have to risk everything on a perilous journey across the wasteland of Europe, hoping to find a new home somewhere in what is left.

It helps to have seen Greenland first, since this is a direct continuation of the same family's story. Gerard Butler returns as John Garrity, with Morena Baccarin as Allison Garrity and Roman Griffin Davis as their son Nathan Garrity. Tommie Earl Jenkins plays General Sharpe and Trond Fausa Aurvåg is Adam Shaw. Ric Roman Waugh directs again, as he did on Greenland and Angel Has Fallen. The film runs 1h 38m and is rated PG-13.

Scores have dropped compared with the first film: this sequel holds 5.5 on Kinopoisk and 5.3 on IMDb from 15033 votes, against 6.9 and 6.4 for Greenland.

Hope is uncharted territory.
