Gomorrah: The Origins
Gomorrah: The Origins is a 2026 crime drama series that goes back to Pietro Savastano's youth. The story opens in 1977 in a Naples marked by poverty and cigarette smuggling, where a very young Pietro, the son of no one, grows up as an adoptive brother in a family in the poorest part of Secondigliano. He scrapes by on the street, dreaming of a comfort he cannot yet reach. Alongside his brothers and lifelong friends, and through a first love that is wild and passionate, he loses his innocence step by step. His meeting with Angelo, known as 'A Sirena, the regent of Secondigliano, is the point where the boy enters the world of crime.
Luca Lubrano plays the young Pietro Savastano, Francesco Pellegrino is Angelo ‘A Sirena, Tullia Venezia plays Imma, and Fabiola Balestriere appears as Annalisa Magliocca, futura Scianel. Since the series is a prequel that begins at the very start of Pietro's story, it can be watched without any knowledge of what comes later, and the first episode is the natural place to begin.
