Confinement
Pregnant and recently widowed, Stella is taken in by her late husband's estranged family. Their generosity has something deeply unsettling underneath it, and as their obsession with her unborn child turns deadly, Stella finds herself fighting for her life. The thriller-horror premise is a closed house and a woman who cannot easily leave it.
Nathalie Emmanuel plays Stella, with Eloise Lovell Anderson as Lake Cadell, Adam Woodward as Ian Cadell, Claire Forlani as Caroline and Tina Gray as Granno; Ben Cura and Charlie Hiscock appear as Felix and Bunny. Peter Howitt directs; his earlier films include Sliding Doors and Johnny English. The film runs 1h 32m and is rated R, which fits a story that ends up with a pregnant woman fighting for her life.
