Broad Trip
Alice is buttoned-up and careful; her mother Jeanie is wild and impulsive, and she is about to marry a man she has only just met. Alice plans a bachelorette road trip with one goal: talk her out of it. On the road the two women run into old wounds and old flames, rediscover how tightly they are bound to each other, and slowly accept that life does not always follow a plan, and that this might be fine.
Sophia Bush plays Alice opposite Lauren Holly as Jeanie. Steve Guttenberg appears as Wayne and Hamza Haq as Wes, the men whose presence complicates the trip. Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe directs; her previous work includes This Time Each Year and Shifting Gears. The comedy-drama is a compact 1h 24m.
