Champion of the world

Champion of the world (original title Batal Al Alam) is an action drama series about Salah, a former boxer whose difficult circumstances push him into work as a bodyguard. Fate throws him together with Donia, a young woman who looks like she comes from money but is actually weighed down by debts and her father's absence. She asks Salah to help her recover her father's inheritance, and the search turns into a chase led by Al-Mahrouk, the betting leader. Along the way the pair find that survival is less about escaping danger than about trust, love and a second chance.

Essam Omar, Gihan El Shamashergy, Fathy Abdel Wahab and Mohammad Lotfi lead the cast. Essam Abdel Hamid, who previously directed Devil's Advocate, is in charge. Episodes run about 46m and no age rating is listed.

IMDb users have rated the series 6.3 from 181 votes; no Kinopoisk score is on record.
