Azure Spring
Trailer unavailableTwo people who feel stuck in their lives take up diving as haenyeo, and find in the sea a kind of healing and a new sense of meaning. The drama series stays close to the two of them as they confront their pasts and their fears, learning the work together and, through it, learning to face what they had been avoiding. The sea is as much a character here as either of the divers, and the story is built around people rather than incident.
YERI plays Seo Anna, Kang Sang-jun plays Yoon Deok-hyun and Ko Joo-hee plays Baek Soo-jeong. Kim Won-sik, Seo Jeong-yeon, Choi Nak Won, Jeong Min-sung and Lee So-yoon are also in the cast. Jeong Heon-su, whose earlier series include Branding in Seongsu and Eccentric! Chef Moon, directs. Begin at the first episode, since the diving and the bond between the two develop over time. Neither an age rating nor an episode runtime appears in the listing.
