Winter: Battleground
Winter: Battleground is a 2026 science fiction action thriller with a war-movie edge. America has fallen under an AI-controlled regime, and one rogue soldier hiding out in the forest is being hunted for it. To stop the artificial intelligence from taking total control, he has to outfight elite assassins, cybernetic soldiers and corrupted machines, mostly on his own, with no allies in sight and the whole apparatus of the regime turned against him.
Donald Cerrone plays Winter, the soldier of the title, with Johnny Messner as Jacob, Kayleigh Gilbert as Alex, Jeffrey Decker as Two Bit and Zachary Scott Clark as Hick. David Christopher Pitt directs. The film is a compact 1h 23m, and no age rating is listed in the source data.
IMDb users have given it 8.1, but that figure rests on just 17 votes, so treat it as an early signal rather than a settled score.
