Red Riding
After her mother's overdose, teenager Red Riding leaves London for the Scottish estate of a grandmother she barely knows. Dark family secrets, missing children and a monstrous wolf soon blur what is real, and she is forced to fight for survival. This horror thriller takes the old fairy tale as a starting point and, as its tagline warns, is no fairy tale at all.
The cast includes Victoria Tait as Redele, Jack McEvoy as Andy, Ian Whyte as Thomas, Lynsey Beauchamp as Penelope and Robert Cavanah as Sergeant George Dixon, with Bill Fellows as Malcolm. Craig Conway directs. The film runs 1h 26m and carries no official rating.
Early audience numbers are modest: a 4.3 on IMDb from 224 votes. Kinopoisk has not scored it so far.
