Pegasus 3
Pegasus 3 is the third film in the Pegasus Collection, following Pegasus in 2019 and Pegasus 2 in 2024. Zhang Chi still carries the glory of being the King of Bayanbulak, and once again he sets out on a racing journey. This time the goal is not simply to take the chequered flag but to achieve something that goes beyond the competition itself. The tagline sets the tone: let's lay out the road and race ahead.
Teng Shen returns as Zhang Chi. Johnny Huang plays Lin Zhendong, Yin Zheng is Sun Yuqiang, Chengcheng Fan is Li Xiaohai and Zhang Benyu appears as Ji Xing, with Steven Dasz as a Spanish engineer. Han Han directs, as he did on the earlier Pegasus films and on Duckweed. The comedy-drama runs 2h 6m; no age rating is listed. Newcomers can start here, but the earlier two films provide Zhang Chi's backstory.
IMDb users rate this instalment 6.8 from 571 votes, close to the 6.9 of Pegasus 2 and above the 6.3 of the original. Kinopoisk has no score for the new film.
