A Murder Between Friends
A Murder Between Friends is a mystery thriller with a compact setup: a legendary TV star finds a murder on her hands at her own country estate and takes on the investigation herself. The tagline gives the house-party rules for the weekend: lock your bedroom doors tonight, one of you could be a murderer. Beyond that, the film keeps its plot cards close.
Joan Collins plays Francesca Carlyle, the star turned sleuth. Jacob Young appears as Josh, Toby-Alexander Smith as Sydney, Nadia Bjorlin as Kat, Simon Cotton as Devin and India Thain as Sonia, which gives Francesca a full house of suspects. Trent Garrett and Jacob Young share directing duties, with Young also acting. The film runs 1h 25m and no age rating has been listed.
IMDb reaction has been cool: 3.6 from 119 votes, with no Kinopoisk score to set against it.
