A Family
A Family is a 2026 drama about a divorce seen through the children caught in the middle of it. Nina and Eli are torn between loyalty to each parent, anger and a longing simply to be seen. The film tells the same story twice, once from each sibling's perspective, so that events overlap and shift depending on who is watching, and the picture that emerges is of a love that fractures and still finds a way through.
Celeste Holsheimer plays Nina and Finn Vogels plays Eli. Carice van Houten and Pieter Embrechts are the parents, Maria and Jacob, with Livia Lamers as Steffie and Benjamin Dos Reis Monteiro as Alex. Mees Peijnenburg directs, following his earlier feature Paradise Drifters. The film runs 1h 29m; no age rating is listed in the source data.
On IMDb the film is rated 7.6; the number of votes is not given.
