Racheal Cain

Racheal Cain is a writer and director who earned her BFA in Film Production at Florida State University's College of Motion Picture Arts. Her feature screenplay 'Somnium' won First Place in the Los Angeles Screenplay Competition before being shortlisted for the Breaking Through the Lens Initiative at Cannes in 2020. SOMNIUM premiered at the Chattanooga Film Festival in 2024 where it won the Audience Award, along with the Silver Audience Award at Brooklyn Horror Film Festival and Best Actress in a Feature Film at FilmQuest. The film was picked up by distributor Yellow Veil Pictures in early 2025 and is slated for release in fall 2025. Racheal resides in Austin, TX.
