He began his professional career in theatre. During university, he founded the production company Dulces Sueños PC, with which he produced his first short films. His feature debut as director was Blue Lips, premiered at the Valladolid Seminci. Later came El Desentierro, followed by directing the hit TV series L·Alqueria Blanca.
