Zot!

Zot! is a 2026 comedy series set somewhere in medieval Flanders. Diederik, an optimistic jester, and his half-sister Marie seek refuge in the castle of Countess Isabella. Once inside they become entangled in forbidden romances, a nobility that is toxic to be around, and a mysterious secret from their own past that the castle seems to have been waiting to reveal.

Jens Dendoncker plays Diederik and Ayana Doucouré plays Marie. Charlotte Timmers is Isabella van Haspengouw, the countess who takes them in, with Jonas Vermeulen as Ferguut van Haspengouw and Ruth Beeckmans as Ageeth. David Vennix directs. The series threads its romances and its secret through the season, so it is best started at the first episode.

Early audience response is fair: the series holds 6.7 on IMDb from 105 votes.
