The Legend of Rosy Clouds
Set in the legendary Nine Cities, The Legend of Rosy Clouds pairs the noblewoman Fan Yun with the cunning lord Qi Zheng, two people who would rather not need each other but must join forces against a looming crisis. As they work to protect the people's welfare, the alliance warms into friendship and then love, and their efforts become the key to peace and prosperity for the realm.
The series mixes comedy into its costume drama, so expect banter alongside the politics. Joseph Zeng plays Qi Zheng and Li Yitong is Fan Yun, with Riley Wang as Gao Ran, Deng Wei in the dual role of Zheng Shi / Lou Qiyan and Dai Luwa as Wei Shisan. Zhu Shaojie directs; his earlier series include The Legend of Chusen. The listing gives neither an episode runtime nor an age rating. Start from the first episode, since the central relationship is built step by step.
On IMDb it currently stands at 5.8 from only 22 votes, too few to read much into; there is no Kinopoisk score yet.
