When I Said I Do
Ali Corley is a search-and-rescue K-9 handler who lost her husband in the line of duty and has slowly rebuilt her life around the work. Then she meets Shawn Willis, a seasoned rescue specialist, and the connection between them forces each to look hard at what commitment actually means. This is a romance built on a shared profession rather than a chance encounter, and the search-and-rescue setting gives the drama a practical edge.
Sarah Drew plays Ali Corley opposite Eric Johnson as Shawn Willis, with Hattie Kragten as Olivia, Lisa Hartman appearing as a podcast host and Sara Faisal as a waitress. Stefan Brogren, previously behind Welcome to Valentine and Obsessed to Death, directs this TV movie, which runs a compact 1h 28m and has no age rating listed.
On IMDb it holds 6.8 from 134 votes, a small sample but a warm one for a made-for-television romance.
