Welcome To The Jungle
Trailer unavailableWelcome To The Jungle is the latest entry in the Welcome Collection, following Welcome Back from 2015. A group of quirky characters gets stranded in a dangerous jungle during a chaotic mission, and with criminals on their trail and confusion everywhere, they have to cooperate to survive and find a way out. The tagline lays out the recipe: fake film, real jungle, real danger, real idiots.
It is an action-adventure comedy, and the plot stands on its own, so there is no need to have seen Welcome Back first. Akshay Kumar plays Rajeev Kohli, Disha Patani is Nadia, Raveena Tandon plays Zoya and Paresh Rawal is Das, with Lara Dutta as Teja, Shreyas Talpade as Nainsukh and Johny Lever as Dubey. Ahmed Khan directs, after Baaghi 2 and Baaghi 3. The film runs a long 2h 50m, and no age rating is listed.
IMDb users currently rate it 5.0, ahead of the 4.3 that Welcome Back holds on IMDb; that earlier film scored 7.4 on Kinopoisk, where this one has no rating yet.
