War Machine
The final, grueling mission of Army Ranger training is supposed to be the hardest thing these soldiers will face. Then something else arrives: a giant otherworldly killing machine that turns the exercise into a real war. A combat engineer has to lead his unit through it, and the tagline sums up the only strategy on offer: all grit, no quit.
Alan Ritchson stars as the engineer, known only by his number, 81, with Stephan James as 7. Dennis Quaid plays Army Sgt Maj Sheridan, Jai Courtney is the squad leader and Esai Morales plays Torres. Patrick Hughes directs; his earlier films include The Hitman's Bodyguard and The Expendables 3. Part action, part science fiction, the film runs 1h 50m and is rated R. It currently stands alone in the War Machine Collection.
IMDb voters have given it 6.3 from a large pool of 90165 votes. No Kinopoisk rating is listed.
