Vaa Vaathiyaar

Vaa Vaathiyaar is an action comedy about a man brought up as the reincarnation of a famous actor. The premise sounds like a blessing until he is old enough to have his own ideas, at which point he collides head-on with his grandfather's expectations of who he is supposed to be. The synopsis stops there, leaving the specifics of the clash for the film to reveal.

Karthi plays Rameshwaran "Ramu", the reluctant heir to someone else's legend. Krithi Shetty appears as Wu, Sathyaraj as Periyasamy and Rajkiran as Jaiganesh. Nalan Kumarasamy directs. The film runs 2h 9m, which gives it room for both the comedy and the action the genre tags promise; no age rating is listed.

IMDb voters have been lukewarm, giving it 4.5 from 864 votes, and there is no Kinopoisk rating on record.
