You're Killing Me
A close friend is murdered in a quaint New England town, and two women who would never otherwise have worked together decide to find the killer. Allie is a bestselling novelist; Andi is an aspiring writer who runs a podcast. Their alliance is unlikely and, on the evidence of the title, prickly, but the crime series builds itself around the way the two of them investigate from different angles.
Brooke Shields plays Allison Chandler, known as Allie, and Amalia Williamson plays Andrea Walker, or Andi. Tom Cavanagh appears as Jack Kerrigan, Laura Kohoot as Connie Newsome and Kian Zarkechvari as a town councilman, with no director named in the credits on hand. This is one to take from the first episode, since the case is a single thread running through the season rather than a mystery of the week. Age rating and episode length are both absent from the listing.
