Twenty Twenty Six
Twenty Twenty Six is a 2026 comedy series that hands Ian Fletcher, the former BBC head of values, the job of saving the World Cup. The tournament involves 48 countries and three host nations, and the show's own pitch is a shrug: so that's all good then. Expect the humour to come from meetings, management speak and the gap between confident plans and what actually happens.
Hugh Bonneville plays Ian Fletcher, David Tennant serves as Narrator, Paulo Costanzo is Nick Castellano, Hugh Skinner plays Will Humphries and Nick Blood appears as Phil Plank, with Belinda Stewart-Wilson also in the cast. The source data names nobody in the director's chair. Episodes run about 29m, and no age rating is listed.
