Curly Burly

Curly Burly is an animated adventure about Krølle Bølle, a young troll who lives safely underground on Bornholm with his family and all the other trolls. Life below is full of bat flights, cave parties and rules, lots of rules, one of which must never be broken: never go up to the surface, because humans are dangerous. Krølle Bølle is a troublemaker who does not quite see the point of that rule, so when a sudden rumbling comes from above he sneaks up toward the human world, with his little sister Borra following behind him. An innocent outing quickly turns into a much bigger adventure, full of danger and magic.

Carl Løber Roliggaard voices Krølle Bølle and Dagmar Celinder Norrbom voices Borra. Mille Lehfeldt is Nogo, Sonny Lahey is Kleppert, Hadi Ka-Koush plays Drønnert and Kjeld Nørgaard voices Bedstefar, the grandfather. Jan Rahbek directs, after Primates of the Caribbean. The film runs 1h 20m; no age rating is listed.

Early scores are modest in number: 7.1 on Kinopoisk and 6.8 on IMDb from 53 votes.
