Dead End
Trailer unavailableDead End, released under the original title Räjähdyspiste, is a six-part crime drama based on true events. It reconstructs the hostage tragedy of August 1986, a day that stopped all of Finland and permanently changed police tactics. The tagline asks how much one man can take, and the series follows the people on both sides of the standoff as the hours stretch on.
Johannes Holopainen plays Jorma Takala and Minka Kuustonen is Vera Takala; Laura Malmivaara appears as Johanna Rinne, Elias Salonen as Juhani Lempinen, Ilkka Koivula as Henrik Eloranta and Antti Tiensuu as Eero Rautavaara. Konsta Laakso and Roosa Söderholm round out the cast as Make and Helena Kymäläinen. Because it tells one story across its six episodes, start from the first. The listing names no director and gives neither episode length nor an age rating.
