The Testaments
The Testaments is a 2026 drama series about a generation that has never known anything but Gilead. Growing up under its rules, a group of young women look ahead at the bleak future laid out for them and start searching for allies, both new and old, who can help them fight for freedom. The tagline calls it a defiant coming of age story, and the synopsis stays with the girls rather than the regime's leaders.
Ann Dowd plays Aunt Lydia, with Chase Infiniti as Agnes, Lucy Halliday as Daisy and Rowan Blanchard as Shunammite. No director or episode runtime is given in the source data. The series carries a TV-MA rating, so it is aimed squarely at adult viewers.
Kinopoisk users rate the show 7.8. No IMDb score is listed, although the title has drawn 2561 votes there.
