By the Throat
Trailer unavailableAmy and Alex Cummings are wealthy, and they lost their daughter in a car accident several years ago. Amy's injuries mean she cannot become pregnant again, and the trauma has pushed the couple somewhere dangerous. With Alex away on business, Amy needs supervision, so Lizzy arrives at their beautiful rural family home, where nothing is quite what it seems. Dark forces are summoned, and Lizzy finds herself part of a devious plan. As the synopsis puts it: death and murder ensue.
By the Throat is a compact horror film, running 1h 18m. Jeany Spark plays Amy and Rupert Young is Alex, with Patricia Allison as Lizzy and Matthew Cottle as Dr. Lewis. David Luke Rees directs. No age rating is listed, though the premise of grief turning into ritual makes it plainly adult material.
IMDb users have given it 5 from 38 votes so far; there is no Kinopoisk score yet.
