The Mongoose
A falsely accused war hero with nothing left to lose leads police on a televised cross-country car chase. Members of his former Special Forces Army battalion help him along the way, while a fascinated public follows every mile and roots for his safe getaway. The set-up keeps the action on the road and splits the tension between the pursuit itself and the crowd watching it.
Liam Neeson leads as Ryan 'Fang' Flanagan, with Marisa Tomei as Tara, Ving Rhames as Tanker and Michael Chiklis as Major Walter Pope; Hamish Michael and Toby Truslove appear as Captain Parks and Captain McBride. Mark Vanselow directs, with no earlier films listed for him. The action thriller runs 1h 39m and has no age rating on record.
