God of Frogs
God of Frogs is an anthology horror film: four segments circling the same monster. Deep in the jungle lives an elemental creature with an eternal hunger, and once every 25 years it surfaces. In 1969 a woman is eaten alive, in 1994 a film crew vanishes, in 2019 a politician explodes on live television, and in 2044 a multinational corporation goes up in flames. The tagline says it plainly: something hungry has awakened.
Four directors handle the segments: Ali Chappell, Adrian Bobb, Richard Lee and Natalie Metcalfe, and Chappell also acts, playing Lilith. Corteon Moore appears as Brendan Milton, Erika Prevost as Cass, Kate Vernon as Eve, Lynne Griffin as Juliet and James Gilbert as Guru. The film runs 1h 41m; no age rating is listed.
It is early days for audience scores: IMDb shows 5.3 from just 21 votes, and there is no Kinopoisk rating.
