The Dreamer Cinderella
The Dreamer Cinderella is a 2026 romantic drama that describes itself as a Cinderella story with the emotional resonance of Under the Same Moon and the transformational charm of My Fair Lady. At its center is Xochitl, a Mexican-American street fruit vendor whose life takes an unexpected turn when a powerful film director makes her the subject of a daring bet with his career rival. Thrust into a world she perceives as hostile, she finds herself in a clash of cultures that produces new friendships, surprising rivalries and life-altering consequences.
Anakaren Chablé plays Xochitl. Anthony Preston is Andrew Goldblum, Tara Reid plays Jenna, Paul Johansson is Johnathan and Paul Rodríguez appears as Savino. Jose-Luis Ruiz directs. The film runs 1h 34m and carries a PG rating, making it one of the gentler entries in the genre.
The film has a very high 9.3 on IMDb, but from only 34 votes, so that figure says more about early enthusiasm than about a settled consensus.
