The Breadwinner
The Breadwinner is a family comedy about a role reversal nobody planned. Nate Wilcox has always been the one earning the money, until his wife Katie lands a once-in-a-lifetime deal on Shark Tank that takes her off on a prolonged business trip. That leaves Nate as a first-time stay-at-home dad, fending for the family on his own. The tagline counts it out: one dad, three kids, zero clue.
Nate Bargatze plays Nate Wilcox and Mandy Moore plays Katie Wilcox. The children are Gracie, Hadley and Sam Wilcox, played by Stella Grace Fitzgerald, Birdie Borria and Charlotte Ann Tucker. Colin Jost appears as Conor Ashford, Will Forte as Keegan and Martin Herlihy as Peter. The director is not named in the listing. The film runs 1h 40m and is rated PG, so it is pitched at the whole household.
On IMDb it holds a 6.5 from 3628 votes.
