The Beauty
The Beauty is a drama series with a science-fiction edge set inside the world of high fashion. International supermodels start dying in gruesome, unexplained ways, and FBI Agents Cooper Madsen and Jordan Bennett are dispatched to Paris to find out why. What they uncover is a sexually transmitted virus that turns ordinary people into visions of physical perfection, with consequences that are anything but pretty. The tagline, one shot makes you hot, hints at how the infection spreads.
Evan Peters leads as Cooper Madsen, Anthony Ramos plays Antonio, also credited as The Assassin, and Jeremy Pope appears as Jeremy. Ryan Murphy, the creator behind American Horror Story and Scream Queens, directs. The series is rated TV-MA, so expect explicit body horror and adult themes from the first episode onward; no per-episode runtime is listed.
Kinopoisk users currently rate it 7.0; IMDb has logged 3733 votes, though no averaged IMDb score is listed in the data yet.
