Neha Rajvansh is a public prosecutor who has never had to worry about her position. Sarika Rawat is a courtroom stenographer who has worked for everything she has. When the two meet, both their lives are thrown into upheaval in a world where power defines truth, and the thriller keeps circling one question: what does justice actually mean to each of them? The title refers to the machinery both women work inside, and the plot is about that machinery blurring.
Sonakshi Sinha plays Neha Rajvansh and Jyotika plays Sarika Rawat. Ashutosh Gowariker appears as Ravi Rajvansh, Adinath Kothare as Alok Rajvansh and Sachit Murthy as Judge Kumar. Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari directs; her earlier films include Bareilly Ki Barfi and Panga. The film runs 2h 4m and is rated PG-13, so the courtroom tension stays within a broad-audience frame.
