Surviving Earth
Surviving Earth is a documentary series about a vanished world and the life that refused to vanish with it. Each episode introduces the bizarre and often strange-looking creatures and landscapes of a prehistoric era, then follows what happened to them when catastrophe struck. The point is not simply that life survived the cataclysmic events of this deep past, but that it thrived afterwards. The tagline sets the scale: "8 epic extinctions. One thriving planet."
The listing credits Kelly William, Dredon House, Stacy Da Silva and Lisa Ortiz, without specifying their roles. No director is named, and neither episode length nor age rating is given. Because each extinction is a self-contained chapter, the series can be dipped into, though watching in order gives a sense of how one era gave way to the next.
IMDb users rate it 6.3 from 121 votes; no Kinopoisk score has been recorded.
