Stranger Things: Tales from '85

Stranger Things: Tales from '85 is an animated series that goes back to Hawkins in the winter of 1985. The town is still crawling with secrets, and the heroes from the live-action show are dealing with fresh mysteries and what the synopsis calls an all-new breed of strange. The tone mixes mystery, sci-fi and adventure, and the animation format lets it play as its own side story rather than a continuation.

The voice cast includes Brooklyn Davey Norstedt as Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport as Max, Luca Diaz as Mike, Elisha Williams as Lucas and Benjamin Plessala as Will, with Janeane Garofalo as Anna Baxter. It is rated TV-PG, so it is suitable for family viewing, and as a standalone spin-off it can be started without rewatching anything first.

Viewers on Kinopoisk have given the series a 6.7 so far.

A new adventure awaits.
