Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord
Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord is a 2026 animated series that picks up after the Clone Wars. Maul, cut loose from the wider conflict, plots to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet the Empire has not yet touched. The tagline, let us have our revenge, gives a sense of the mood: this is a story told from the side of a villain who has scores to settle, mixing action, adventure and science fantasy.
Sam Witwer voices Maul. The cast around him includes Wagner Moura as Brander Lawson, Charlie Bushnell as Rylee Lawson, Richard Ayoade as Two-Boots, Dennis Haysbert as Master Eeko-Dio Daki, Chris Diamantopoulos as Looti Vario and Gideon Adlon as Devon Izara. No director or episode runtime is listed; the series is rated TV-PG, so it is suitable for older children.
Scores are strong on both sides: 8.0 on Kinopoisk and 8.5 on IMDb from 6221 votes.
