Trail of Chikatilo
The country is putting the 90s behind it, life is improving and travellers are once again heading for the Black Sea resorts. Along the way some of them become victims of brutal murderers who kill for profit and spare neither women, the elderly nor children, and every attempt to pick up the criminals' trail comes to nothing. Vitaly Vitvitsky and his pregnant wife Irina Ovsyannikova leave for a holiday in the Crimea and fall into the hands of the same people, who turn out to be the Amazon Gang, led by someone known as Smallpox.
Dmitry Vlaskin plays Vitvitsky and Yuliya Afanasyeva plays Ovsyannikova. Vladimir Lyakhov appears as Ruslan Akhmetovich, Aleksey Sokolkov as Petrov and Anton Uspenskiy as Otets Shakhi, with Nikita Plashchevskiy, Oleg Kamenshchikov and Nikolay Kozak also in the cast. Goga Mamadzhanyan, whose earlier work includes Interesting Situation and Uninvited Guests, directs this crime drama series. Start from the first episode; no age rating or episode runtime is listed.
IMDb shows 3.8, but from only 6 votes, too few to read as a verdict.
